"If [Blomdah's work] was merely pure white or clear, or in clay or wood or stone I would have prized them for their shapes alone. But add to them that Blomdahl pour of ardent hue from say, mallard green through coral mist to burgundy, from peach to lime, from flame through coastal gray to phoenician purple, and every one seems like a study in transcendence."
